Panic Disorder
Panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by recurrent and unexpected panic attacks. These panic attacks are intense periods of extreme discomfort or fear that occur suddenly and reach their peak within minutes. During a panic attack, individuals often experience a combination of physical and psychological symptoms. Those affected often live in fear of the next panic attack.
